Review by Sam S Age 9

Today’s review is a book that is on the approved primary schools reading list, but I think Sam reviewed it because this book is a good read – it must be because he is reading the rest of the series.

It’s about dragons raised under a mountain with no daylight who escape when a fake dragon threatens one of their lives. After they escape they are captured by the Skywing Queen who takes them to the Skywing Arena where all the dragon tribes are pitted against each other for entertainment. The Dragons escape their prison and fly to the Mudwing Kingdom where they are finally safe. But are they?

Who is your favourite character and why?

Starflight because he is a walking scroll, he is so smart for a Dragon.

What is your favourite part in the book?

When they are in the sky wing arena because its really scary. But I was pleased they escaped.

Why is this book better than other books?

Because it has thrilling twists and turns.

Favourite Quote

Starlight says “It is only two more days and we can eat cows galore.”

I would recommend this book for…

I would recommend this book for 9+ for children that like adventure books.
